Yiming Wang's artistic practice mainly focuses on popular culture, Commodity Spectacle, and their "failure" and "collapse" in the contemporary context.
She pays attention to the highly dramatic images and narratives produced by popular culture, and disassembles the desires and meanings they create and foster, integrating them with reality, thereby revealing an inevitable contradiction and absurdity.
Absurdity also exposes the fragility of popular culture and commodity Spectacle , showcases the fragmentation of narratives, and reveals the division of values. At the same time, it exposes the anxiety of existence, the endless desires, and the absence of meaning in life. And the tension between these desires and the nihility is the starting point of her creation.
王怡铭是一个多媒介艺术家，创作包括装置，影像，数字动画，绘画，她2026在广州美术学院获得了数字媒体艺术学士学位，目前她将在2026年秋季就读芝加哥艺术学院的纯艺雕塑硕士。

她关注大众文化产生的有高度戏剧张力的图像与叙事，并拆解其催生构建的欲望、意义，使其与现实交织，从而展现一种不可避免的矛盾，荒谬。
荒谬同时也揭露了大众文化，商品景观的脆弱，展现了叙事的碎片化，价值的分裂。同时暴露了存在的焦虑，欲望的无尽，生命意义的缺失。而这些欲望与虚无之间的张力，就是她的创作出发点。
